“Jakobus” Trollinger

The traditional grape has been grown in South Tyrol for hundreds of years. The “Jakobus” is produced in the vineyards around Wehrburg Castle at 500 to 600 m above sea level. With crop sizes of 60 to 70 hl per hectare, the grape yield is kept very low. As such, this pure Trollinger wine features an impressively intense colour and subtle fruity aromas of sour cherry, violet and almond. With its good structure, soft tannins and mild acidity, this wine is great for pairing with meals. This wine works well with any kind of snack, white meat or pasta dish.
